Do You Need Marvell Sata Controller Driver Windows 7
The 9128 is a Marvell and was the around the first product to hit the market, it was replaced by the 9182 which is a worthwhile replacement. Personally I use the Marvell controlled ports on my board for just storage (non SSD) and not speed. I suggest you do the same. There are good PCIe 3rd party controllers out there, but not integrated ones. Onboard Marvell Controller Opinions Like a lot of you, my motherboard has an extra set of SATA Controllers by Marvell. When I first tried them back on my Gigabyte Socket 1366 board I thought they were lousy in comparison to the Intel SATA Controller.
